Mediation style and approach
Roger mediates because he enjoys it and because he believes that his experience (on both sides of the fence) makes him particularly well-placed to understand and appreciate the key inter-personal, commercial and legal issues preventing settlement of even the most complex dispute and then to think laterally through the issues with a view to facilitating settlement.
He will always work hard to understand the legal issues because he believes that this is fundamental to a successful mediation.
Where necessary, Roger can be robust and forthright but his general style is relaxed and extremely client friendly.
Roger is always happy to discuss fees. He appreciates that what is reasonable will depend on the size and complexity of the dispute and the clients’ ability to pay.
